Covid-19 has affected how we all live, work, and carry on with life. At Vitality Salon Maida Vale, we decided to implement a variety of measures to best manage the risk and safety elements for our valued clients and staff alike. We have installed sturdy metal/perspex barrier screens between the client stations and washbasins as well as at the Reception desk. We provide our Vitality branded Hand Sanitizer at each client station which is “99% kills bacteria”.

We trust that these safety measures and protocols will provide you the reassurance and confidence to visit us at the end of this Lockdown and we would welcome your feedback.

Covid19 Protocols
  • Before entering Vitality Salon:
    • Appointments only – no walk-ins
    • Social distancing measures are in place – reduced number of appointments
    • Infrared temperature check
    • Sanitizer spray on the soles of your shoes
    • Hand sanitizer at reception and each client station
    • NHS Covid-19 QR Code for track & trace
  • During your Appointment:
    • Facemasks worn by both clients and all staff members
    • Social distancing and limited movement throughout the salon
    • Perspex screens between client stations
    • Single use PPE gowns & towels
    • Sterilization of all scissors/tools after each appointment
    • Communications via mirror not face-2-face
    • Perspex screen between client and nailbar technician
    • Perspex Reception screen for payments and appointment bookings
  • Between Client Appointments
    • Cleaning & sanitization of client station between clients/appointments
    • Salon deep clean at end of each day
